You don’t know what disc golf is or you’ve heard of it, but haven’t had a chance to try it out? Do you like active holidays, but you had enough of walking and hiking? Do you lack a bit of competitive spirit? And with all that, do you like to eat well, drink and see something new? Then this is the program for you because you will not miss the activities nor the other tourist experiences.
DAY 1
Arrival to Varaždin and accommodation in a hotel (3 stars, 4 on request). City tour in the early evening (possibility to hire a guide at an additional cost) and a three-course dinner at the Bedem restaurant.
As there is a grass meadow by the restaurant terrace, after dinner we`ll have a “disc golf putting contest” (if the group meets sports for the first time, we first do a short training). The best one receives a prize but all the participants will win one traditional drink (brandy, liqueur, elderberryflower juice). Overnight in a hotel.
DAY 2
The second morning, after breakfast, departure by organized transport to town Varaždinske Toplice. Disc golf round is scheduled in the wooded terrain (park above the excavations). Lunch will follow at a restaurant in Varaždinske Toplice. After lunch, a walk around the city and a visit to the Roman excavations as well as tasting thermal lemonade and special cake in a restuarant (or on the excavations if the weather allows). Departure from Varaždinske Toplice and visit to the facility (Zlatne gorice) for a wine tasting and tasting of homemade pumpkinseed oil. Arrival in Varaždin in the late afternoon. Possibility of transport to the airport in Zagreb and/or surcharges for extra nights.
