Varaždin is known as a city of culture, but also as a city of baroque atmosphere, although its uniqueness is primarily in the harmonious permeation of all medieval styles, a city of many features that spreads them in front of visitors.
DAY 1
The program begins in the morning with the arrival of guests at the hotel. First we`ll have a city tour with expert guide, who will be telling you stories and details from the baroque history time. After that you`ll visit the city museum. Coffee and cake break are organized in the Countess Marica cafe. Since little angels are a symbol of Baroque art, a visit to the Museum of Angels shouldn`t be missed. Musem is established by Varaždin artist Željko Prstec, whose artistic opus is entirely related to angels. Lunch at a restaurant in the city center. After lunch, you will return to the hotel and enjoy free time until 18:00pm. Stari Grad Castle, the most famous cultural monument in Varaždin, is the place where we will have dinner in the atrium (or baroque hall). Here you will experience the flavors and charms of dining, a festive baroque feast with an authentic "live" baroque music scenery. But before dinner, we will dress you in a costumes to become true inhabitants of Varaždin from the Baroque period for a few hours. This story will last for almost 3 hours when you will have to take off your costumes and get back to the present day. And all this will be photographed by our photographer, giving you one of your own portrait and one group photo, what will be a nice reminder of this special experience. Return to the hotel and overnight stay.
DAY 2
Rich breakfast at the hotel. Departure, but if desired, on the way to Zagreb, there is the possibility of visiting well known winery and taste some wines from the Varaždin vineyards.
