Come to Varaždin County and find out what our ancestors ate, what is the most famous pastry here, what kinf of lemonade you can try at Roman exacavation site, why every household will offer you pumpkinseed oil for your salad and find ot what does the sign "Flavors of croatian tradition" at the entrance of chosen restaurants present.
DAY 1
The program begins with a four-course dinner and a wine tasting in one of the Flavors of croatian tradition project restaurants.
DAY 2
Breakfast at the hotel. A short tour of the city, museum visit (City Museum, Natural History, Firefighter or Bicycle Museum) according to the interest of a group. A coffe break at the Dora café coffee and tasting of local brand - "Varaždinski klpič" pastry. Lunch is organized at a restaurant in the city center. In the afternoon, organized departure to city of Varaždinske Toplice. Welcome drink is the special Toplica sulfur lemonade or homemade spirit at the Roman excavations. Following is a tour of the excavations and the Homeland Museum with expert guidance. After that, on the way to Varaždin we`ll stop at the beautiful property that offers scenic views and there we`ll have wine and pumpkinseed oil tasting but also a dinner. Return to the hotel for the night.
DAY 3
After breakfast, we organize a task game "Varaždin search" in which visitors must find and photograph certain sights and symbols of the city specially connected to the gastronomy of Varaždin county. For completed game they receive a gift (traditional bowl Tastes) when arriving for lunch at one of the branded restaurants. Our program ends with a three-course lunch.
